Don’t worry — everyone in Durham is friendly and it is guaranteed you’ll have a blast! Check the schedule and make some plans to go and cheer for The Durham Bulls. Allow yourself some extra time and arrive early to have a cold pint at the award winning Full Steam Brewery before the game. If it happens to be a Friday, this is your lucky day — the game will end with a great display of fireworks! We know hot dogs and pretzels are a hard thing to resist, however, make some room for one last bite after the ninth inning…especially now The Bull City earned the title of The South’s Tastiest Town.

Peonies!

This morning my day was made as I entered the flower shop and was greeted by bright coral peonies! Every year I look forward to May when these beauties are blooming in our gardens and most brides use them in their bouquets and centerpieces. To me as a wedding planner, peonies are the ultimate romantic, soft flower for weddings and just plain gorgeous!
