Amazing Azaleas!

Yes, these gardens continue to amaze us.  Last week was the one week of the year that the azaleas in front of the Fearrington House bloom and they were especially spectacular this year.

This particular location is not typically a wedding site, but how could you resist having a wedding here that week?  It’s so nice to be able to have the flexibility on these incredible grounds to change plans at the last minute and take full appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us.

And Suzy and Brad were truly a deserving couple for such a special treat.  I wish them all the best!

Spring Peonies by the Fire

It’s rare that you get to enjoy Spring's glorious peonies beside a roaring fire, but this weekend’s cool spell gave us such a nice opportunity.  When the temperature dropped and the clouds threatened, we quickly moved the garden ceremony into the Garden Terrace.  Tori and Zack got to celebrate a beautiful spring ceremony in front of a cozy wood fire.  It was lovely.  It’s such a relief it is that we don’t have to worry a bit about what the weather may bring to our outdoor... After Hours

The nice weather has got us Fearrington employees longing to lounge outside amongst the beautiful gardens or take a quick walk to check in on our Beltie friends!  When the weekend comes around we have also been taking full advantage of our beer garden Roost which offers a nice selection of beer, wine, small plates (Capps’ Pizza on Friday nights!) and live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Whether unwinding after a long meeting day, meeting up with clients or enjoying an evening... Wine of the Week [May 6-May 12]

Greetings fellow wine enthusiasts!  Regardless of the degree to which you identify with the term, whether you like to enjoy a glass every now and then, or, like me, go see a blockbuster movie (Ironman 3) and completely miss out on critical parts of the story because you were too busy trying to decipher who the producers were for the bottles of wine in the background, we here at The Goat would like to foster your love for the drink by offering two wines per week that we will showcase here in...
