Relais & Châteaux’s “The Art of Entertaining”

The Fearrington House Inn is honored to be included in Relais & Châteaux’s first book, “The Art of Entertaining,” featuring entertaining tips, tricks and expertise on hosting sophisticated and luxurious events from 17 member properties in North America.

Fearrington’s section on Southern-Style Brunch features recipes for Corn Bread Waffles with Smoked Salmon, Shrimp and Grits, Raspberry Tartlets, plus two cocktails and tips on creating the perfect harvest centerpiece with Principle Floral Designer, Mary Stevens.

In addition to The Fearrington House Inn, other properties include a Halloween Costume Party at The Inn at Little Washington, a Wine Harvest Dinner at Meadowood Napa Valley, and an Olmsted Garden Long Table Lunch at Langdon Hall Country House.

“Relais & Châteaux members are among the world’s foremost experts on entertaining,” said Patrick O’Connell, President of Relais & Châteaux North America and Chef Proprietor of The Inn at Little Washington.  “Each Relais property has its own authentic style, reflecting its locality and the personality of its owners.”

“The Art of Entertaining” will retail for $45 and is set to release October 2016. We hear McIntyre’s Books will have copies for sale soon!
