Pups Get Pampered, Too!

When traveling, it can be hard to leave your furry friends behind. Fearrington understands, and as dog people, we would love to have you and your canine companions come and visit!

When you check in, feel free to bring your pup just outside of Inn Reception, and our staff will come out to greet you and give your pup a pat on the head or a belly rub. The honorary guest can join for the Village Center tour. Be on the look out for dog bowls outside of our shop doors, ready to offer a refreshment during the stroll. They can even step inside Dovecote, where a treat awaits them!

Bring your dog’s favorite leash (or purchase a Beltie collar and leash from Dovecote Style), because the extensive trails around Fearrington are perfect for a short stroll or even a run! The gradual hills and soft grass on either side of the gravel walking trails are perfect to keep your pup’s paws comfortable. Onsite Camden Park welcomes dogs and offers receptacles with plastic bags for necessary clean up.

Our pet friendly rooms are on the ground floor and are first come first serve. Simply let us know when reserving that you want to bring your pups. Feel free to bring blankets, toys, beds or whatever else will make your dog feel at home. Our housekeeping team will even leave them a small present at turndown service!

For more information about our pet friendly rooms, call Inn Reservations at 919.542.2121. We would love to see you and your pup relaxing at Fearrington! Share your pictures of you and your pup with us and use the hashtag #fearringtonmoments and tag us @fearringtonnc.

Ashley & Jason

Ashley and Jason tied the knot on February 28, 2015. These newlyweds said their "I dos" at the Garden Terrace, and danced the night away in the Fearrington Barn. How did you and your partner meet? We went to the same college, Carnegie Mellon University, and actually lived on the same floor freshman year. We really didn’t start to know each other until the second semester that year, when I couldn’t figure out the Virtual Lab assignments from Chem 2 class and someone had casually... Full Post >

Divine Intervention or Maker’s Mark?

We've had bridal couples consider it before, and I remember thinking it was a cute idea, but now I am a believer! I’m talking about Burying the Bourbon -- really. In our planning meeting, I realized that Libby was serious about burying a bottle of Bourbon at her wedding site 30 days before her and Will's big day. So, our gardener Donna cheerfully obliged. A month later, Will did the honors of digging up the buried treasure just before the ceremony, in the midst of a heatwave with... Full Post >
