Fairchild|Baldwin at Dovecote

As the buyer for Dovecote Style, I have the daunting (but exciting) task of sorting through a world of accessories each season. Every once in awhile, I am blown away by a design that hits every mark on my checklist and really stands out in the vast sea of options.

Fairchild|Baldwin neckwear is at the top of my list this season for its great style (ultra chic and simply gorgeous), its versatility (jeans to cocktails), wearability (clever, clever construction) and most of all, its flatter factor (covering just the right amount of neck and illuminating the face).

While the color options are out of this world, for a first purchase we suggest taking one’s cue from your eye color or skin tone, and your selection will complement almost any ensemble you pair it with.

I started my “collection” with Oyster – a universally flattering color that looks amazing on most everyone. Not too white, not too cream, not too gray, just perfection. I have worn my necklace with everything from a grey herringbone flannel shirt from Claridge and King to a cupro cocktail dress from Shosh. Suffice to say, it is my new go-to accessory no matter what the occasion. These necklaces will make you feel polished, a bit glamorous, but not too serious, in that they are faceted resin beads from Italy – not the Crown Jewels – so way more youthful and a lot more fun!

As for the mavens behind this brand . . .
