It’s simple and easy to become a member of The Belted Bottle Club – just purchase six (or more) bottles of wine at The Goat! Our wine team is pleased to offer a discount of 10% off of orders of six bottles, or a half case, and 15% off of full case orders. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, stop by Wednesday – Saturday from 2-4pm to place a special order with Colin, Fearrington’s sommelier.
In addition, with the purchase of six bottles, you’ll receive a complimentary wine satchel to hold your wine. When you bring the satchel back for your next purchase, you’ll receive 15% off your purchase.
As a perk of being in the Belted Bottle Club, when you purchase six half cases, you’ll receive a spot in one of Wine Director Maximilian Kast’s wine classes at The Granary, for free.
This is the perfect opportunity to be rewarded for your love of wine – don’t miss out! Stop by The Goat this Saturday for a free wine tasting with Colin and start your membership in The Belted Bottle Club.
At Fearrington House Restaurant
Fearrington's Sous Chef Thomas Card worked with a team of five talented high schoolers for the third time last year, through the Prostart Program, a nationwide program that connects the classroom and industry. Every year, Chef Card's Cary High School team has qualified for the National Competition. "I have learned how inspiring a younger generation of culinarians can be," said Chef Card on his experiences with the program. "The process is difficult but very rewarding."

The bittersweet flavors of the Mezcal inspired the name for this unique cocktail. With lots of ingredients grown in the gardens at Fearrington, to the combinations of fennel, gentian root and sea salt, this cocktail is not for the faint of heart.
Smoky Summer Cocktail
Mezcal's origins in Oaxaca inspired the name for this cocktail. The flavors and aromatics from Salers Gentian Root Liqueur, a gentian root commonly used in making bitters lend a bittersweet profile. The fennel... Full Post >
At McIntyre's Books
To Brie or not to Brie: that is the question. Grab up this gooey cookbook to reimagine sandwiches, soups, pickles, spreads, and mac n' cheeses. My favorite? The Sunday Brunch sandwich, a delectable melding of Brie and strawberries bookended by French-toasted challah bread; the whole lot smothered in maple syrup. I'm sure this is very healthy, because of the fruit, of course. . .

We found it very difficult to narrow our handbag selection to a measly six, but if pressed these are the perfect ones.
Crossbody: a crossbody is key. It's not too big, not too small, and perfect for weekend errands such as scoping out the farmer's market and going for coffee (and shopping at your favorite local boutique)! Hands-free shopping is very enjoyable. We love ones from Ceri Hoover, a Nashville designer who does beautiful things with leather and... Full Post >
Fearrington Weddings, Real Weddings
Amy and Joseph tied the knot on May 7, 2016. These newlyweds said their "I dos" at the Willow Oaks, and danced the night away in the Fearrington Barn.
How did you and your partner meet?
Joseph and I met in law school at Campbell University - Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. He sat just a couple of seats down from me in class, and when we realized we had a mutual friend outside of school, we got to talking and a few weeks into the fall semester, he asked me to take a study break (on...
