Special Soaps

Visitors to The Fearrington House Inn and The Spa at Fearrington have become very familiar with Molton Brown, a luxurious bath product line from The United Kingdom. The line perfectly complements Fearrington’s atmosphere of British countryside in the American South.

The rich scents make any shower or bath a lavish experience, and the bar soaps found in the Inn’s bathrooms are also for purchase at The Spa’s boutique, Haven. The exfoliating bar soap contains ground pecan shells that scrub away rough skin and brightens your skin’s complexion. Because the soap is hard milled, that tiny little bar lasts a surprisingly long time!

The Purifying Plum-Kadu shampoo & conditioner found in your inn bath leave your hair feeling silky and refreshed. The Purifying Ambrusca Bath & Shower gel offer a light romantic scent to any bath. If you have chosen one of our suites with a jacuzzi tub, you will delight in the Molton Brown bath salts, found in a packet resting on the edge of your tub.

With experience working at our spa, I have seen many guests specifically request the Molton Brown products to take home and extend their memorable Fearrington House Inn experience. These delightful little treasures are just some of the many things you will not want to miss during your stay with us!

A Sprouting Spring Menu

Spring is all about freshness. The colors, the tastes, the ingredients -- they all seem brighter than other seasons. After the browns and oranges that rein in the Fall and carry over into the Winter, the Spring menu is one of the most exciting for us in the kitchen to plan. Some ingredients say Spring, like strawberries, morel mushrooms and ramps. Until local produce, like strawberries, hits peak season and makes its way into our kitchen, we incorporate ingredients from all over the United... Full Post >

Chocolate Curls

Who knew the amazing new desserts at The Goat would don white and dark chocolate curls? Fearrington's Cake Designer and Chocolatier Emma Isakoff gave us a full tutorial! Start with tempered chocolate at 33 degrees Celsius, known as working temperature in the kitchen, and spread on acetate strips. Why acetate?
