Fourth of July

Whether you’re entertaining or merely partaking in various patriotic festivities, the Fourth of July always gives us an excuse to dress in a fun way. We love a printed Krazy Larry pant paired with a Wilt tee and a bold Matta scarf.

If you’re entertaining, we suggest investing in a classic cookbook such as the one we carry in the store, chock full of deviled egg ideas! Deviled eggs, prepared any way, are THE perfect party snack. We also love these clever steak markers, perfect for a holiday cookout. Whatever you do, remember to be safe, have fun, and celebrate in style!

The Goat's pastrami sandwich is proving to be one of the most popular dishes on the new menu! What’s the key? Well the housemade bread doesn’t hurt, but the real kicker here is in the meat. We smoke and roast our pastrami in house for 6 hours before slicing it and serving it to guests. Stop by The Goat to try this delicious... Full Post >

All of our bread is made in-house each morning by Pastry Sous Chef Paola de Maayer and her team. Walking Opportunities in Fearrington

"From the start, Fearrington Village seemed designed to be a walking community. There were more than 10 miles of roads even in the early years and the mail was delivered to some half dozen kiosks distributed around our “country village.” For many that made possible a ten or fifteen stroll to get one’s mail. But sharing the roads with automobiles was a potential safety issue so Fitch Creations began building graded, gravel covered paths that paralleled roads with heavier traffic: Village... Full Post >
