Get out your reusable tote bags, the Fearrington Farmers' Market returns on Tuesday, April 9th! Expect to see many of your favorite farmers and some new faces as well. Thanks to everyone who visited the Fearrington Folk Art Show last weekend! Despite the surprise dusting of snow and the cold (clearly nothing will deter a lover of folk art) the barn was filled to the rafters with people enjoying work created by 35 artists from all over the Southeast. There was all manner of funny, colorful, thought-provoking and just all around amazing art to be experienced in the barn. Now it’s time to start planning for the 2014 show! The Folk Art Show is only a two weeks away. As we eagerly (impatiently) await its arrival our minds turn to dots. Lots of them. Over the years, Sam the Dot Man has graced Fearrington with all manner of painted, dotted, art that welcomes visitors at the Belted Goat, at the Granary and for one weekend a year at the entrance to the Barn.
